After twelve o’clock on a moonless night driving along a side road for about 20 kilometers before reaching the island, I saw various species of animals running across the road or beside: hedgehog, fox, beaver, female/deer, hares, various types of birds: patridges, pheasants, owls, eagles and…. wolf. It was the first time in such a diverse/number/of species.
