OFF THE LIMOUSINE 21

DAY6
Farewell lunch with Sunlee, who stayed a little longer to chat. He shaved his beard and looked 20 years younger. I’m afraid I have a similar condition, which I don’t want to aggravate too much. Everyone who joined in was really happy that we talked openly about so many different topics. I finally found one of my favorite Lebanese coffees, and wanted to share it with everybody and… turned out that people who used to s.c. States ‘quality’ can’t drink it. Interesting. I ate blue potatoes for the first time in my life. Sunlee was a fisherman, he knew a lot about international fish, so to speak, he found a shop in the neighborhood with fresh ones and of course we ate non-Baltic cod. He had one funny saying, if you hit 10 on his view on anything – seriously faced “Correct”. His last puzzle was “What is the most unconscious factor in a beer evaluation?” I said: “Color” and smiley Sunlee: “Correct”.
HOBOKEN NJ
It’s a Strange Amazing feeling when your whole life up to now, surrounded by a crowd of people, has been about organizing, arranging, creating, playing/acting, directing, producing, being in the spotlight, etc. And with all that experience, you step aside and, without interfering with reality, you humbly begin to look for a place, also within yourself, to converse with it. As if you were looking for a new attitude, a new life, a new blessing, to find a Wife with whom you will constantly talk and cultivate the Land of Dialogue for the rest of your life and much longer. Or, In Other Words, to help/not interfere with reality to find a MIRROR for Yourself. Such is the not-quite-loneliness of a long-distance runner anymore, on the last stretch before the finish line. Every corner of every house becomes a potential / hopeful place from which SHE will finally appear. If it’s not beautiful, what else IS.
I ate my first fast food on Willow Street: a kebab with shrimps, (pl krewewetka~bloodEweave) which wasn’t actually on the extensive list. But in the end, that’s the least of its / their problems. In this rich neighborhood/city, quite different from the previous one, not far around the corner, I found my favorite socio-invention, a public shelf for donating/exchanging books. And perhaps there would be nothing unusual about this if I hadn’t found a complement/fulfillment/extension of the birdhouse content around the next corner. I remembered that as a child we used to hunt for these used disposable “lightsabers” to cross them once, imagine the final battle between Good and Evil, and hear the wonderful clash of the clash.
